eTRAC™ is an online management tool that allows you to set card spending limits and personnel access restrictions, keep track of activity in real time, view statements online, and create and download customized reports.

You can limit card use – according to your company policies using eTRAC™ in real time. Create and set individual and group card policies that give you complete control over your fleet. For instance, you can set purchase limits and restrictions by:

eTRAC™ FAQ’s

Q: How do I access eTRAC?

A: eTRAC is accessible 24/7 by going to www.shell.ca/etrac. Your Customer ID and password are the two pieces of information you are required to have when accessing your account through eTRAC. If you`ve never accessed eTRAC and do not know your password, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-661-2278. Please keep your Customer ID and password confidential and do not share these with anyone. Each authorized user on your account should be set up with his/her own unique credentials.

Q: What is my eTRAC Secure Entry Code?

A: In order to provide you with the highest level of security, you will be required to set-up a Secure Entry Code when logging into eTRAC for the first time. In addition, you will be required to click on the Secure Entry Code after logging into eTRAC from a new computer and at various random times for security purposes. Be sure to either memorize your code or keep it recorded in a secure place. Do not share your Secure Entry Code with anyone.

Q: How do I prevent my cardholders from making unauthorized purchases?

A: Through eTRAC you have the capability to put volume limits on each card; this will help you limit your cardholders to a specific number of transactions or dollar amount every day. For example, limiting to $500 every 24 hours will help prevent unauthorized uses of the Shell Fleet Card™. To avoid unnecessary delays, please keep your cardholders informed as to what items they are allowed to purchase.

Q: What if one of my cards is lost or stolen?

A: If one of your cards is lost or stolen, that card should be ‘inactivated’, ‘deleted’, or placed ‘on hold’ immediately. That card will now be useless to anyone until the status is changed back to ‘active’. Log in to eTRAC to perform these functions immediately by visiting www.shell.ca/etrac.

Q: What if I have two divisions requiring separate limits?

A: You will be able to have multiple policies in this case. Login to eTRAC and set-up several default policies and select which default each particular card needs. This allows individual card management for companies requiring more specialized fleet policies without the task of individual card management.
