Sasha Stoudenikina - Credit Advisor

After graduating in April 2006 from Telfer School of Management (University of Ottawa) with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance I joined Shell Canada as a new graduate in the Credit Department for Oil Products Financial Operations.

I am completely supported by the management team to continue learning and developing and am encouraged to take any courses that I see fit in my development plan. One of the great things about Shell Canada’s management team is the opportunity given to employees to interact with the Senior Leadership Team.

As an example, with the integration to Royal Dutch Shell’s structure we were invited to a luncheon with a Senior Vice President of Treasury & Corporate Finance who was visiting from London, UK.

In these sessions we are able to discuss potential career paths, opportunities for new grads and to ask any other questions we may have.

In my experience with Shell, it has been a common theme that the company is very employee oriented, supporting any extracurricular activities that employee may take on including volunteer organizations. I believe I made an excellent decision to work for Shell Canada, with the continued integration there are many opportunities ahead of me within the organization. I strongly recommend Shell as an employer to new grads.
